Documentation Users and your account

Your workspaces

See the workspaces you belong to, create a new one, switch between them, and what leaving one takes.

A workspace is where a business keeps its tables, pages and forms, with its own members. You can belong to several, with one account.

Your workspaces list

After you sign in you land on Your workspaces, at app.sterodata.com/workspaces. Each row shows the workspace's name and whether you are its Owner, the person who created it, or a Member, with its URL key when that differs from the name. Choose a row to open the workspace.

Create a workspace

  1. On your workspaces list, under Create a new workspace, type a Workspace name. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, starting and ending with a letter or a number, such as green-valley. It becomes the workspace's address. Generate random name suggests one.
  2. Check the Document language: what its pages, forms and shared links read in, numbers and dates included. It starts from your region.
  3. Choose Create workspace.

You become the workspace's Super Admin, with every right in it. Give it a display name, logo and colour in Settings, and invite your team (see Members and roles).

Switch workspace

Inside a workspace, choose its name or logo at the left of the top bar. The menu lists your other workspaces under Switch workspace; choose one to open it. If you belong to no other, it says No other workspaces.

Leave a workspace

You cannot leave a workspace yourself. Ask someone who manages its members to remove you: they choose Manage beside you, then Remove from workspace. If you are its only Super Admin, give that role to another member first.

Being removed takes away your access to that workspace only. Your account and your other workspaces stay as they are.

Delete a workspace

A workspace you created can be moved to the trash from this list and restored within 30 days: see Delete a workspace.
