Accept an invitation

Open the invitation link, sign in or sign up with the email it was sent to, and accept or decline. Or join a workspace that lets people add themselves.

When someone invites you to a workspace, Sterodata emails you a link, or they send you the link themselves. The invitation is for the email address it was sent to, and it lasts 14 days.

Accept it

  1. Open the link. The page says who invited you and to which workspace.
  2. If you are not signed in, choose Sign in as and your email. No account yet? On the sign-in page choose Sign up and use the email the invitation was sent to (see Sign up and sign in). Either way you come back to the invitation.
  3. Choose Accept invitation. You are in the workspace, with the roles the invitation gives.

Choose Decline instead if you do not want to join.

If the page says something else

This invitation was declinedAsk for a new one if you declined it by mistake.

Join without an invitation

Some workspaces let anyone with a Sterodata account add themselves. Open the workspace's join address, such as app.sterodata.com/your-key/join, sign in if asked, and choose Join workspace. You join as a regular member; an administrator can change what you can see and do afterwards.

If the page says This workspace is invitation only, ask someone in it to invite you by email. A workspace's administrators turn this on or off with Allow self-join (see Guest access, self-join and assistants).
