Documentation Workspace settings
Language, numbers and dates
Choose how the workspace writes numbers, currency and dates, which also sets the language its shared pages and forms read in. The app's own language follows your browser.
The Locale setting decides how the workspace writes numbers, currency and dates. It applies to everything the workspace sends out as well: a shared link or a published page reads in the workspace's convention, whatever the reader's browser is set to. A price list from a Romanian shop reads 1.234,56 lei for every customer.
You choose it first when you create the workspace, where it is called Document language. To change it later, open Settings, General, and pick a new Locale. Your screen changes at once; other people see the change the next time they open the workspace.
The locales
| Locale | Numbers | Dates | New currency fields start in |
|---|---|---|---|
| English (United States) | 1,234.56 | 9/4/2026 | US dollars |
| English (United Kingdom) | 1,234.56 | 04/09/2026 | Pounds sterling |
| Română (România) | 1.234,56 | 04.09.2026 | Lei |
| Deutsch (Deutschland) | 1.234,56 | 4.9.2026 | Euros |
| Français (France) | 1 234,56 | 04/09/2026 | Euros |
| Español (España) | 1.234,56 | 4/9/2026 | Euros |
| Italiano (Italia) | 1.234,56 | 04/09/2026 | Euros |
| Nederlands (Nederland) | 1.234,56 | 4-9-2026 | Euros |
The dates in the table are all 4 September 2026. The locale also picks the exchange rates a new workspace starts with: the National Bank of Romania's for Română (România), the European Central Bank's for every other (see Exchange rates). Changing the locale later does not change the exchange rates.
The app's own language
The app's own words, such as its buttons, menus and messages, are in English or Romanian.
- For a member working in the app, they follow the language your browser is set to: Romanian if it is set to Romanian, English otherwise. Your workspace's locale does not change them, so an English-speaking consultant in a Romanian workspace still works in English.
- For someone reading a shared link or a public page, they follow the workspace's locale, where the app has that language. In a workspace whose locale is in another language, the app's few words of its own on a shared page are in English, and some are left out.
The names you give your tables, fields, pages and forms are shown exactly as you wrote them, in every case.
There is no setting to choose the app's language for yourself. To work in Romanian or English, set your browser's language.
