Documentation Workspace settings

Logo and colour

Upload the workspace's logo, set its square icon and pick its colour. They appear on every page and form you share, in the browser tab and in link previews.

Your logo and colour are set once, in Settings, General, Appearance, and every page and form you share shows them the next time it is opened. There is nothing to publish again. Beside the settings, What customers see draws a shared page, its browser tab and its link card in a chat, so you can check the result as you go.

Logo

  1. Choose Upload logo.
  2. Pick a PNG, JPG or WebP file of up to 2 MB.

The logo is shown on every page and form you share, in the browser tab, on a phone's home screen and when a link is sent in a chat. It must be at least 64 px tall, not counting empty edges, and at most 8000 px on each side. SVG, GIF and animated images are refused, with the reason. Replace uploads a new one; Remove takes it off.

Icon

The square icon, used in the browser tab and on a phone's home screen, is cut from your logo. Choose Adjust to move and Zoom the square, or Upload a square icon instead to use a separate picture of at least 64 px on each side. If the icon may look blurry on a phone, the pane says so.

Without a logo, members see a tile with the workspace's initial. Choose an icon puts an icon from Sterodata's library on it instead.

Colour

The Color is used on the buttons, links and picked choices of every page and form you share. Pick one of the 13 presets, or choose + for Custom colour and set any colour, written as # and six hex digits, such as #2F6F4F. A preset is saved as you pick it; a custom colour when its picker closes.

The first time you upload a logo to a workspace that has never had a colour, its colour is taken from the logo, marked From your logo. After that, a new logo offers its colour without picking it.

Members' own screens in the app use the preset nearest your colour, and the line under the colours says which, such as members see Emerald.

Only a workspace admin can change the logo and colour.
