Documentation Workspace settings
Name, address and contact details
Set the workspace's display name and URL key, the phone number customers can call, and the privacy notice linked under your public forms.
These settings are in Settings, General, on the General pane. Type a value and press Enter, or click away, to save it.
Display name
The name people read: in titles, the top bar and the workspaces list, and on the pages and forms you share. It can contain spaces, does not have to be unique, and can be up to 128 characters. Leave it empty and the workspace shows its URL key instead.
URL key
The workspace's part of every address, as in app.sterodata.com/your-key/data. It uses lowercase letters, digits and hyphens, starts with a letter or a digit, and is up to 64 characters. It must not already be used by another workspace, and a few words are kept for Sterodata itself.
When you change it, Sterodata first shows Change the workspace address? with how many of your share links will stop working, and you confirm with the button that names the new address.
The old address is not kept. Bookmarks, links in emails, anything embedded and every share link you have sent stop working at once. Change it before you start sharing, not after.
Phone for customers
Customers can call or WhatsApp this number from a page that has ended or is paused, and from a button you add to a page. Write it with the country code, such as +40 721 000 111. Spaces, dashes, dots and brackets are fine, and a leading 00 is read as +. A number without a country code is refused. Clear the field to remove it.
Privacy notice
The address of your own page that says how you use what people send you. It is linked under every public form and named on Publish. It must start with https://. Clear the field to remove it.
This is your business's notice, for the people who fill in your forms. Sterodata's own handling of personal data is set out in its privacy policy.
