Connect your AI assistant

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Codex to Sterodata, so it can read and build in your workspaces as you.

An assistant connected to Sterodata answers questions from your records and does building work for you: it can read and change data, create tables and pages, and publish links. It acts as you. It can do what you can do in your workspaces, and nothing you can't.

Connect one

  1. In ChatGPT, Claude or Codex, add a connector with the address https://api.sterodata.com/mcp. Each assistant has its own menu for this; the worked example How to connect ChatGPT or Claude to your business data walks through it.
  2. The assistant sends you to Sterodata. Sign in if you are not signed in already.
  3. Sterodata asks whether to allow the assistant, by name, to use Sterodata, and says it will act as you, under your email address. Choose Allow. You are taken back to the assistant.

Then ask in plain words: which clients ordered most last quarter, add a field for the delivery date, build a dashboard of this month's sales.

See or disconnect it

Open the account menu, at the right of the top bar, and choose Connected assistants. It lists each assistant you connected, with Disconnect. A disconnected assistant stops working until you connect it again.

A workspace admin sees which members have connected an assistant in Settings › General › Access, and can disconnect one there.

An assistant works in every workspace you belong to, with everything your roles allow there, publishing links included. Connect only an assistant account you control.
